Well it was time to revisit one of my most popular 3D print creations! This addresses a few concerns expressed by Thingiverse readers in the comments. 1) the handle is now split into 2 pieces which makes it much easier to print, they still need support, but they can be printed with the gears flat. 2) No metal bearings. All you need to do is use a little lubricant, like Vaseline 3) length of the handle. I found that I could now print the handle 5 mm longer than before because of the re-orientation, but I also included one 10 mm shorter for smaller printers. I kept all of the teeth on the gears because I think they look cool I had a lot of trouble getting the threads to line up on the handle, so I am not sure if this is printer dependent or not.
