This funnel is designed to fit over the neck of a sodastream CO2 tank to make it easier to put dry ice in the tank. Remove brass valve atop cylinder and this should then fit snugly around the top of the bottle. Note that the tanks have a net weight of like 14.5 Oz so if you have a scale to weigh the empty tank you can overfill it a few ounces and let the dry ice purge air in the tank while watching the weight decrease as it sublimes. Once you get close to target weight screw the brass valve on loosely and let it purge a bit more before sealing up.
