This is Rotorx Atom v3 (4mm) armor boot with an integrated soft mount. Use soft material when printing like TPU. I cut supports with wire nippers, but a hobby knife should also do the trick. Two versions, I used the v3.3 version with extra dampening rings, these appear to have worked well with m2x8mm screws. Original armor by spencergs, updated with supports by myself, then extended for 4mm frame by btimby. I used softmount by dayve. Merged/adjusted objects in freecad. .1: fix orientation Test1: the stretched armor is not wide enough for my frame (3.4mm according to cad), I removed this model .2: further extend the z axis on the boot to fit my frame ~4.1mm and move mount back to better align holes. .3: added additional rings for added dampening and to make sure 8mm screws don't short.
