I designed this part in order to make these solar light post caps... https://www.lowes.com/pd/Deckorators-Fits-Common-Post-Measurement-4-in-x-4-in-Actual-5-8-in-x-5-8-in-x-2-8-in-White-Solar-LED-Plastic-Deck-Post-Cap/1000504267 fit onto these post sleeves... https://www.lowes.com/pd/Deckorators-Fits-Common-Post-Measurement-4-in-x-4-in-Actual-4-in-x-4-in-x-40-in-White-Composite-Deck-Post-Sleeve/1000799438 These should fit tightly if the post extends up to the top of the sleeve, as the "fingers" of the inner clip are set to a thickness that will just barely wedge between the sleeves and wooden posts. Fitting on just a sleeve, you might want to install with a bit of construction adhesive between the shroud and inner mounting bracket, but it is still fairly snug. This model might also fit other combinations, so feel free to try if you don't have a 1:1 match with my situation but you could make it work. I printed with both PETG and PLA+. Recommended that you use a material that can handle the elements since these aren't strictly decorative parts and may need to handle some bumps. I make use of the existing mounting screws to connect to the light part itself, and discarded the provided mounting bracket and shroud. These have personally handled rain/sun/light use without major issues. Print with extra walls & a heavier infill to give the parts some strength.
