The mosquitoes will enter from the front end of the funnel which consists of holes with the large diameter and the inner holes posses lower diameter which doesn't allow mosquito to leave the box. The box consists of a convex lens and a convex surface. Once the mosquitoes get trapped inside the device, the heat built up inside the device, as a result of direct sunlight exposure through convex surfaces, kills them. Mosquitos can be trapped by use of some chemical agent, LED light etc. Once they enter the box they would die of heat and dehydration. It is cost efficient as it uses solar energy and adding more features like more no. of convex lens can make it more effective.
