Small update Feb 2022: Groove mount for dragon & V6 using M3x8 instead of M2.5x8 to secure the two parts together. Small update Jan 2022: thickened the area where the bltouch cable route goes through and added an adxl version as well This was my first shroud design, so it's far from perfect, I have leaned a lot since then. Major redesign will start soon, something very rigid, and support for multiple direct drive and hotends. Cooling capability will remain roughly the same. Using all the knowledge I got by making this but mostly from the multiple iteration of a dual 5015 shroud I made. If you want to support my work and gain early access, and provide early feedback to the redesign it will be posted on my patreon when I start working on it. If you become a patreon subscriber, make sure to mention you are interested in this redesign and I'll start working on it sooner rather than later (as I'm currently working on the SaturnOrbiter, a dual 5015). Thanks in advance for your support!!! https://www.patreon.com/squirrelf3d Please consider donating if you find this useful. Allowing me to spend more time improving it. Read the filename to get the version you need: "Universal": this refer to the hotend, compatible Dragon/V6/Stock hotend "Dragon": this has a few tweaks that makes it only compatible with the dragon hotend (airflow is even more channeled to go through the cold end ) "Bltouch": file with Bltouch, means that the bltouch mount is part of the print. if you have an ender 3v2 and the official metal bracket, you can simply use that metal bracket instead of printing the mount (so don't use a bltouch file version in that case.) "Bowden": this has a smooth top and no mount for the Orbiter direct drive extruder. Any other file are compatible with Orbiter.extruder. Front fan can be either 40x10mm or 40x20mm deep., if using a 10mm deep fan, I created a 10mm cover for esthetic. side fan is meant for a 10mm deep fan, but nothing stops you from putting a 40x20mm fan. Regarding dragon/v6 mount: screws to hold the two parts together are the same one that came with the dragon hotend, m2x8 if I recall correctly. Has mounting holes for ender 3/pro, but no one has yet confirmed if that actually worked for them. For fans, since the dragon hotend doesn't require as much cooling as the stock hotend, I'm using a noctua 40x20 FLX (12v) With stock hotend I was using the Sunon MF40202V2-1000U-A99 (24v), louder, but huge amount of airflow. (fyi not PWM compatible at all, so only good at 100% speed) For the side fan, I initially was using the winsinn dual ball bearing high speed, it's loud, but gave me best result for bridging at 100% Now I'm using a much quieter Orion OD4010-24LB 24v, lower airflow, but enough for still decent bridging. (quiet at 100% speed, but PWM noise makes it louder at any lower speed, but being a low airflow, I can keep it at 100% without blowing too much air) I you want more airflow there is a mid level version Orion OD4010-24MB, or a really fast/high pressure one Orion OD4010-24HB
