Solar Powered Outdoor Wall Lamp based on Ikea Solvinden

<p>For this wall lamp I wanted to use the solar box of the Solvinden solar-powered pendant lamp, which Ikea is selling since a couple of years. My idea was to create an outdoor lamp without the need of any power source, just depending on solar power. For the Solvinden lamp I wanted to get rid of the shade and just use the solar box with the included battery. Therefore I also removed the strings attached on the top of the solar box.</p> <p>What you need:</p> <ul> <li>Ikea SOLVINDEN Led solar-powered pendant lamp (about 6-8 euros, depending on your country):<br/> <a href="https://www.ikea.com/de/de/p/solvinden-solarhaengeleuchte-led-fuer-draussen-rund-weiss-60451626/">https://www.ikea.com/de/de/p/solvinden-solarhaengeleuchte-led-fuer-draussen-rund-weiss-60451626/</a></li> <li>Screws to mount the base part to the wall; optional tape can also work but is not recommended</li> </ul> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Instructions: The base part itself has a height of 13 cm and should be mounted with 2 screws (max. diameter of 8mm) to the wall. The base part is designed in a way that it covers all screws.<br/> After printing and assembling the base parts (see attached pictures) you just put the solar box from Ikea on the top of the wall lamp and it fits tight and perfect.</p> <p>There is also an optional lamp shade that was printed in Prusament Clear PETG. It is printed in vase mode and can be easily fitted by just sliding it onto the base part from the bottom. No glue required.</p> <p>All parts were printed on a Prusa Mini AND can be printed <strong>without</strong> any supports !!</p>
