Solar Sphere + Expansions insert for the base game box

thingiverse

Solar Sphere insert designed to accomodate the base game and the Johnny Pac's expansion from the Kickstarter in the very small base game box. Internal dimensions: 239 x 174.5 x 49mm It supports sleeved cards, I use MayDay MDG7041s and they only just fit. The dice simply fill up the space at the top of the playerboards - there is no specific tray for them. Additionally, one of the dice is 16mm x 16mm, so doesn't fit alongside the other dice. I just put it in one of the player token trays. The resource tokens need to be rotated to their smallest height as there's not much vertical space for them. Also, take note of the stacking of the hexes. All four of the slightly thinner expansion hexes need to go in one of the slots - then you can add the basegame hexes until they're flush with the top of the tray. UPDATE: 06/01/2023 I've uploaded two alternative models for the scoreboard tray - essentially splitting it in two for smaller print beds. The smaller tray holds the 6 smaller pieces, and the larger tray holds the rest. I haven't printed this myself, but there should be space.
