It can be mounted on the “Articulating LED desk lamp” arm by Gladius. For that you need to print the “Housing for Articulating Arm”. But there also is a normal Version of this solder fume filter, wich I usually use myself, for that just print the normal Housing. All the other Parts stay the same. Thats why I would recommend to print the normal Version first and if you want to try it with the articulating arm, you will only have to reprint the housing.

I used a Sunon 60X60X15mm 12V Fan, but you can use any other Fan with the same dimensions and 12V. For the Power, you simply cut off the End of a USB Cord and solder the + and - wires together. But dont forget to stick the cord through the Backplate first. The 12V Fan of the soldering fume extractor runs very quiet on 5V, but is still able to suck in the fumes, if you solder in the proximity of it. But of course, it is possible to power the fan with the intended 12V, than its louder, but also way stronger. Maybe try 5V first and if its not enough for your intended use, upgrade to 12v?

I used an activated carbon filter mat, that was supposed to be 10mm thick, but I think its closer to 7, so you could definitely try a little bit thicker and denser filter.

Printed in the Prusa Silver PLA wich came with my MK3 and with Polyterra Lava Red PLA. No Supports, Brims or anything needed, as always ;-)

You will need 4* M3 Nuts and 4* M3X35 sink head screws. For mounting the Fume Extracor on the Articulating Arm, you will also need 1* M4 Nut, 1* M4 Washer, 1*M5 Washer and 1* M4X15 Screw.
