An impeller pump I designed for removing the fumes produced by soldering electronic components. The pump is fitted with a vacuum cleaner filter and a sizeable amount of activated carbon, which helps purify the air before it is pumped out. Alternatively the pump can be placed outside and just evacuate the fumes out the room. I used an RS-540 type electric motor, but the parametric files can be modified to fit other motor types.
