Soldering Stand

Soldering Stand

thingiverse

I needed a soldering stand to help with other projects and so decided to make one. Additional components Crocodile clamps (3-4mm wide) - I had some knocking around so designed around these. M5 screws and nuts (1 for the base 3 for each clamp) Glue gun. 8mm rod (I used some acrylic I had spare but anything will do) The clamps are designed with a "teardrop" hole on the vertical faces to avoid the need for supports when printing. These don't need much strength so it isn't an issue but reduces cleanup and waste. The upright is designed for a tight push fit into the base (no glue needed) hence the slot. Depending on the accuracy of your printer you may need to do a bit of sanding/adjusting
