This is a housing for a pair of Male / Female Exceedcon EC04681-2023-BF connectors (which you can buy on eBay). It allows you to plug the WiFi Dongle into one end of the adaptor and plug the other end into your Solis Inverter. The adaptor has a cable port on the side to run cables out to your RS485 Transceivers (used to hack the data coming out of the Inverter such that you can integrate it properly with Home Assistant).
