This is Version 2 of my project: Somfy remote shade controller https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2469542 After 2 years of using the first version of this device. I found that I needed to modify it to make it more durable and reliable. The remote control tray is now heavier. This was necessary because the working of the buttons caused stress on the sides of the tray and over time the sides cracked. Additionally I modified the power cord hole in the remote control tray to enable the power cord to be removed without having to un-soldering wires from the Adafruit Trinket. Next, I fixed the servo clip. The old one was a little tight and warped when used. Finally, I fixed the button pusher. The pusher sometimes didn't work because it got hung up on the case of the remote control. I re-aligned the pusher and beefed it up a bit. When you install the pusher note that it only goes on one way for the best alignment. November 2019 My Adafruit Hazzah board went bad when my 5V wall wart burned the Hazzah up. I found that you can substitute the Hazzah for a very inexpensive "D1 WeMOS Mini Lite" board. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BK435ZW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have included the Arduino code. (D1_shade.ino) The servo is connected to the D1 (GPIO 5) pin of the board.
