The rubber buttons and overmolding on my Sonicare Elite HX7500 were deteriorating so I created this one piece replacement to save the toothbrush from a landfill. It is designed to match the original handle base fairly closely, with flexure points in place of the rubber overmolded buttons. To remove the base, unscrew the removable toothbrush portion, pop the toothbrush head through it's plastic housing, and screw the plastic housing back on the handle all the way. This should pull the electronics 2-3 mm up from the base. Pulling apart the plastic housing and base should then separate the base of the handle from the electronics.
