Very simple device that combines both functions: sony alpha 6000 hot shoe cover an always ready flash bounce system Install it on the camera and leave it forever, il will always be there when you'll need it and the hotshoe contacts are protected ;-)http://youtu.be/nDffY_Z3mf4 Being able to angle the flash to bounce light off the ceiling will create a better looking image many times. Most digital cameras have a flash that only faces forward. This will burn your subject with hard light many times. The Alpha 6000 will do the job using this simple device: pop the flash unit out of its box, push the head of the flash toward the screen push the carbon rod to the right Isn't this a KISS concept ? (Keep It Smart and Simple) EDIT: I moved the pin 2 mm forwards which allows to trim the angle of the flash just sliding backwards the hotshoe cover... Instructions just print it in PLA drill the hole at 2mm insert a piece of 2mm carbon rod (or any other material) The hole diameter shall adjusted so that the carbon rod moves with some friction.
