Hello everyone! (ツ)╯ I designed this replacement part for a broken Sony MDR XB9501 headphone. As shown in fig. (B, 3) those headphones tend to break. This is due the weak link at this particular point. The replacement consists of two parts, the fork (Fig.: (C, 1)) and the lock (Fig.: (C, 2)). You need to print it separately to be able to assamble it. You also need to detache the cables and lead it through the cable duct (Fig.: (C, 4)). The lock and the fork is being held together by a separate screw. When you disassemble the headphone, you can use a spare part to connect the replacement with the headphone in Fig.: (C, 6). Printing: I recommend using PTEG for this print. Also you need to use the designed support object (Fig.: (D, 2)) to be able to print the fork with the locking mechanism. Use the advantage of the multiple processes to print this support properly (Fig.: (E, 2)) and assign it just with infill, without any walls. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
