Sony RX100 shutter release & centering ring

A fellow photographer was eager to utilize the BULB mode on his RX100M1 for capturing night scenes, but unfortunately, this camera doesn't accommodate an electronic shutter release. Therefore, I designed a solution that enables him to lock the shutter open for as long as desired. Even with a less stable tripod, it may still be necessary to cover the lens before and after use to prevent any movement. Kudos go out to Motorpixiegimbals for creating a centering ring adapter that significantly saved me time in this project. A hole runs through the bolt, allowing potential compatibility with a mechanical shutter release trigger. If someone has one of these triggers and can specify the thread size, I'd be happy to incorporate this feature into the design. This device utilizes a small taper head M3 bolt and heat set insert for the knob, but it functions perfectly well without them.
