Using magnets to keep the Sony watch in place is an excellent idea and one which this remix maintains. The difference here is the way the watch is fixed to the cradle - rather than tape, I used an elastic loop. The holes in the base will accommodate magnets which are 6mm diameter and 3mm deep.I used a blob of CA glue on each one to keep it in place but I doubt that they would fall out - they are a tight fit and needed a pair of pliers to seat home. Cut a strip of elastic, about 13cm long, pass it through the slots and sew the ends together, overlapping by 0.5cm or so. When done, loop the elastic over itself - this will form a double thickness elastic strap. Push the watch under the strap as shown in the photographs. Thank you klettervirus, for helping me to create this design and for the detailed description of how to fix everything in place - see all the comments on the original thing page.
