Sony SmartBand2 DIY wristband

Sony SmartBand2 DIY wristband

I've had a Sony SmartBand2 for 1.5 years now and the original wristband broke a while ago. I didn't want to buy replacement wristband (don't even know if they can be purchased), but decided to see if I could 3D print a replacement that's good enough. For the band I did a search and Emmett's nice openscad module was what I went with and it's working very well.

The unit holder part could be bit more round and bit smaller, but since it's working fine so far, not in a hurry to do anything to it. Maybe later.

The openscad code is here: https://github.com/spegelius/3DModels/tree/master/Smartband2

You'll need emmett's openscad module for generating the links.

The links are generated with following settings:

tol=0.2;

snap=1.2;

T=3;

W=16;//[10:28]

Length=200;

quality=2;//[1:Coarse,2:Fine]

Post-Printing

Printed in PETG. No supports needed.
Category: Sport & Outdoors
