Soup Can Planter

thingiverse

This is to reuse Progresso sized soup cans as planters. The base lifts the roots above the water and the spout delivers water under the base. The cans this is made for are 85 mm in diameter and 107 mm in height. Does It Work? After five months in the soup can, my Sage plant has survived the winter. I removed it from the can to replant outside. It grew nicely while in the soup can. Roots grew into the base which made it a little difficult for it the be removed. It worked as intended and will use it again in the fall. Print Settings Printer: Flash Forge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.20 Infill: 30% Notes: The Base was made to be printed so the open end is upwards. No supports are needed on the Base. The Spout was made to be printed on its side. The Spout only needs supports in the top.
