Update: NOLED versions added 1.01 - Added versions with no LED support 1.00 - Added versions with LED support This KISS 32A ESC protector is designed for Source One v3 frame. It eliminates the use of heat shrinks, piece of prop, etc. You simply snap on the ESC and around the arm with two zip-ties and you are ready to fly. Very easy to service the ESCs on the field, just cut the zipties, and open the protector. I use some cloth tape on the frame under the ESC just to avoid carbon conduction. Double sided sticky tape on the top of the bottom part to avoid sliding of the box. Print with 100% infill to give it strentgh, and PLA or harder material. I used rafts to print vertically. It supports TINY LEDS from TBS to use in the holder, but you don't have to. You need to mirror in the slicer to get 2-2 if you plan to use LEDS inside. Weights only 4.6 grams, I could do the same as 3.5 grams of heatshrink and piece of prop, tape.. so if you are okay with 4 grams on 4 pieces together as extra weight, this is much better than handmade protection. So correct order again: bottom piece, double sided-tape, arm, cloth tape, ESC, top piece, ziptie together. When you service, you only need to remove the top part.. when you finished, just snap it on and ziptie.. done. Less than 1 minute to open-close. Makes motor replacements a dream, as you don't have to open heatshrink and cut thru tapes to get to the solder joints. Open, solder motor cables, close. Easy!
