I killed 3 gopro lenses in two months (not just the twist off cover, the actual lens underneath) so I made this 25 degree mount with a ridiculously oversized lens bumper. Hit a pole head on diving into a parking garage and this mount did its job. No damage to the gopro whatsoever. Print on its end with the lens bumper up.
