sous vide float

9-4-17 I float tested these at room temperature and had no water infiltration...however, the first cycle my son used them with the sous vide they all had water infiltrate and many just sunk to the bottom. So I changed this to a work in progress, I plan on trying some different slicing settings, possibly post annealing (heating parts after printing to near plastic temp), and maybe just flat out change the design to an open (think half barrel). --------------------------------- These floats will reduce heat loss from the top surface of the water while sous vide (cooking food sealed in a vacuum bag, so no concern about food safety!). Sliced in S3D in vase mode. PET covered heated glass bed at 90 C, extruder at 250 C. 2 degrees in either direction caused part to fail and loss of clarity. ColorFabb HT
