When playing my Yamaha Sousaphone my skirts gets dirty due to oilresidue from the venting holes at the bottom of the valvehouse. I've created an protection for the valves so the dirty oil is collected into a residue box. I used it at the 17.th of May celebration in Norway today with success. No spots on my white skirt after playing. I used 2 rubber bands to mount it to the valve buttoms. See pictures.
