South Bend Lathe Wrench to fit the tailstock & carriage lock on an older South Bend 9" & 10" metal lathes ... Fits both the 20mm Hex Nut on the tailstock and the 10mm lock on the carriage ... The .stl file was designed as my 1st project on Fusion360 to replace the 2 missing wrenches on my 1950's era South Bend 9" metal lathe ... Right from the printer, it seems to fit snuggly, providing a locking & unlocking of both the carriage and tailstock with a quarter turn while remaining stable on both the 10mm square or 20mm hex nut ... I printed it at 100% fill with PLA Plus, which is probably far more than required, but anything over 50% would be more than enough ... It seems very rigid / rugged, and can be used for both nuts ... ;-) Very snug origionally ... after using it a few times ... became a very nice fit ... a little dirty ... but it has remained a very good fit. I usually just give it a hard bump with the heel of my hand to make sure its tight ... it hasn't loosened up yet ... I'm happy ... ;-)
