<p>Got the Sovol 40w laser head for use with the Xchange and wanted to mount it.</p> <p>With a static BL Touch mount (that stays on the printer with the electrics). Please see my other makes.</p> <p>Mounting the laser straight to the tool changer it sat too high and with the laser at 20mm the BL Touch would crash into the material.</p> <p>All in all its a simple print with 2 holes to attach to the tool changer, then a 90 degree and then the mounts for the laser. I have put some strengthening pillars on the back just to make sure it doesn't move around.</p> <p>Best part is NO additional hardware is needed, it uses the screws in the box with the laser.</p> <p>Printed in PLA with no issues with strength and the laser does not get hot so no warping.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
