My printer is sitting on carpet. I wanted some extra height for clearance of the electronics cooling ports, and spikes to reach through the carpet for stability/vibration isolation based on my history in speaker design. Print in the orientation as downloaded without supports. No hardware needed - the bases snap in directly to the exstrusions at the corners. (This is my first attempt at designing an object. Please leave critical feedback.)
