The standard SV04 comes with silicone nozzle wipe blocks on its purge buckets. Personally, I'm not a fan of them as-is as they are a very solid thing for the nozzle to crash into when moving over them and they don't do the best job of wiping filament off. By making slices along the length of the block it becomes a series of thin flaps, which offer far less resistance to the extruder's travel and seem to wipe the nozzle far better. I also experimented with then cutting the block crosswise as well, forming essentially a silicone brush. This also worked well but I feel the series of flaps works slightly better. Simply remove the block, slip the cutting jig over the top and using a very sharp scalpel or thin hobby knife, slice along each slit. Once all slices are made, remove the jig and cut across the middle forming two sets of flaps. When it eventually wears down you can flip the block around to the fresh side. You can of course do this freehand but this jig makes it much easier to get neat, even, cuts. Make sure you have the purge buckets set high enough so the nozzle is given a good wipe but not so high that other things, such as cooling ducts, collide with it.
