So when my X axis tensioner broke, it was of course in the middle of an important print. I got massive layer shift and a big surprise first thing in the morning. I pulled the tensioner out, and it was really bad. I made this so I could have a stronger part. It has holes for m4 nuts instead of press fit brass inserts. The walls are slightly thicker and they are in front of the pulley holes has been lengthened to give it more strength. Pictured is 2 of my parts with the original broken block. The pulley is a slightly tighter fit, but turns freely. Don't overtighten the pulley screw. You will have to use the tensioner knob to cut threads on each of the 2 screw holes. Make sure you have a steady hand and an eye for level. You can run the screw through the nut first if you don't want to ruin the alignment. I am not sure if that cuts the threads in reverse though. 2 M4 nuts needed. Print lengthwise. I used Carbon Fiber ABS 0.6 nozzle 0.2 layer height, 7 perimeter walls, 253c 105c bed, 50mm/s on an ender 3 v2 neo. printed without an enclosure but with a brim. I made a newer v3 version has better corner support and is what is currently running on my SV06. The inner walls are a lot more rounded when it prints to hopefully reduce strain on the layer lines.
