These are various accessories and replacement parts for a Ponix Systems Herbert vertical indoor garden.

I printed all the stuff in PETG (unless stated otherwise).

Light reducer caps

I had some algae growth inside Herbert so I thought that maybe reducing the amount of light that gets into the growing modules would reduce the algae growth. So far it looks good, but be aware that this is by no way scientific evidence and could also have happened purely by chance.

All cap have two pins added at the bottom for better attachment.

germination-light-reducer-cap.stl
I use these while the seeds are germinating. I simply glued the original transparent caps onto them.

light-reducer-cap-wide/narrow.stl
These are used the rest of the time. You could split them in two parts if you want to remove them without cutting the plant off. The locking mechanism is a little finicky.

Sponge stopper

Some sponges where sticking out from the bottom of the sponge holder. This is to keep the sponge in.

PSU mount

I wanted to mount the PSU to the side of Herbert. This is what I came up with. Use some Glue to fix the two pieces together.

Water level sensor mount adapter

While I did one of the recommended cleaning cycles I somehow got a cable break on the water level sensor. (Thanks Ponix System for the free replacement!) There was just one problem I could not get the pre-assembled water level sensor through the way to tiny hole of the water tank lid. So I cut the hole bigger and made this mounting adapter.

Printed with TPU.

Growing module interlock

Most Herbert owners will never see this part. I completely disassembled mine and accidentially broke off one of the growing module interlocks. I scraped the damaged one off and using a drill and some glue i replaced it with this one. It's not a perfect fit but it works.

May be a good candidate to be printed with ABS/PC/…

Please leave a comment or a photo if you print it!
