I really like Konolab's design, however e14 bulbs and fixtures however are not common in the US - our "candelabra bases" are e12. Sure, I could have reduced the size slightly to suit an e12 base, but instead I made it a little bit bigger to handle an e26 base, which is the most common.
Modifications:
- Widened the base to 130mm (more stable for bigger socket/bulb)
- Increased the size of the lampshade to 108% of original, which widened the lampshade to 200mm (more coverage since the bulb will stick up a little more)
- Widened the holes in both the base and lampshade to 35mm diameter for an e26 socket
