The Dash class of pursuit corvettes were popular among mercenary companies during the incursions on the outer rim, both during and after the conflict. The Dash was well rounded and capable, though perhaps less sophisticated than other classes. Variants include the torpedo armed Alacrity, pulse armed Flurry, and the later war general purpose Vigor piquet ship. With hundreds of examples produced and in service during the conflict, Dashes are a common sight even now in the outer rim, with scores still in service and a slightly smaller number in private hands.
