Spacer for mini lath spindle.

Spacer for mini lath spindle.

This is a spacer I made for my harbor freight 7x10 mini lathe. It was needed when I replaced the stock spindle bearings to tapered ones. The original one was a bit to long. This is Part #15 in the manual. It is the spacer that is behind the drive gear on the spindle. the original is a little bit to long. This should work for the Seig and many other mini lathes. I printed this using PLA. It would probably be optimal to print it with Nylon. I also printed it with 100% infill. If it fits to tight just sand the center hole with a Dremel or by hand, file etc. If it is to long you can file/sand or cut it shorter if you use 100% infill. I have used this on 2 spindles and it worked perfectly.
