Spare Honday key

Based on the idea of Nirav Patel (http://eclecti.cc/hardware/physical-keygen-duplicating-house-keys-on-a-3d-printer), this is a spare key model for Honda vehicles. This key was tested successfully in a Honda Fit, it will open doors but won't of course be able to start the vehicle because it doesn't have a transponder. You can use a caliper to measure your key and match the specs attached. You need to determine the 'code' of your key, composed of 10 digits (from 1 to 6), then edit the openscad file to input the code (last line). A word of advice, be careful to test the torque of the result print, so that it won't break in the lock. Don't force it in or out, don't force to turn it. Mine inserted and turned very smoothly and I didn't have to use force. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1mm Infill: 50% Notes: To avoid overhang issues and to get the best precision possible, I printed the key vertically. I tried printing it flat, but the middle part of the key and the first layer attached to the bed are not great, haven't tried it in the car though.
