<p>This device is used in hombrewing beer. &nbsp;It will fit tubing or pipe with a ½" inner diameter. &nbsp;It can be used for sparge water distribution or to splash wort.</p><p>I use it to distribute the water evenly and calmly while doing a continuous sparge of my mash. &nbsp;I insert it into a ½" copper pipe and the other end is hooked up to tubing which pumps the hot water. &nbsp;This device is set at the water height and helps distribute the water without disturbing the mash bed.</p><p>Some people use this same device to introduce oxygen into the wort while transferring into a fermenter. &nbsp;In this case, the device is held at the top of the fermenter and it allows the wort to splash in and pull in air.</p><p>It can be printed without supports. &nbsp;I would recommend using a food safe PETG.</p>
