Sparkcube radial fan mount

Sparkcube radial fan mount

This is my current version for a radial (blower) fan mount for my Sparkcube. The fan is used to cool filament/printed part and not for cooling the hotend. This is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:225126 I'm using a Big Booster hotend (www.reprap-fab.org). The fan duct fits good around this small hotend. I'm not sure if it work with other hotends. It is up to you to check. I'm using a 50mm blower fan. The mounting angle of fan is very flat, so it fits under Y-sliders of sparkcube without damage. Also it fits on original Sparkcube x-carriage. Print Settings Printer: Sparkcube Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 200 Infill: 30 Notes: Print it in ABS or PETG (I use PETG). Don't use PLA because fan duct is really close to hotend. Post-Printing To attach the fan, first print one of the holders (determine the correct height by yourself, I'm happy with 20mm version) two times. Then print the fan duct once (there is a version with support structure). Now remove any support and fix your fan with a zip-tie. I've drilled a small hole on the "flag" of fan duct to fix the fan. Drop a M4 nut inside the hole of the holders and screw them on the carriage. Now attach the fanduct and fix both with M3 screws and nuts.
