Sparrows .025 Pick Handles

Sparrows .025 Pick Handles

I needed handles for my sparrows picks. Many suggested Plasti-Dip, but that stuff makes a mess and used to smell horrible. It might not smell any more, but I'm not buying it to find out. So, like many of my things, necessity is the mother of invention; or creation; or derivation? I don't think I can really take credit for invention or creation (in general) of pick handles. I can, however, take credit for creation of these handles. If you don't know what these are for you probably don't need them. I don't really expect these to be a big hit in the 3D printing community, but if you find them useful please post a Make or Comment. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Dreamer Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 25% Notes: Printed in MakerGeeks PETG You will need to experiment to find the right size % increase or decrease for your printer. I ended up with the following. Upper Handle X: 100.50% Y: 104.75% Z: 100.00% Lower Handle X: 100.40% Y: 104.65% Z: 100.00% Post-Printing After printing you may need to lightly sand the Lower Handle to get it to fit. I always try for a press fit since glue doesn't work very well with PETG.
