I had an old set of Yamaha 8" bookshelf speakers with a useless tweeter. I pulled it and created a port which I could tune to match the characteristics of the box, both internal to the enclosure and extending from the port hole. Each port tube is incremented by 6mm to adjust finely enough to find the ideal tuning of the box. They are separated to create clean prints of the tube and the collar on which it mounts to the enclosure. The 3 screw patter was because the original tweeter was only 3 screws.
