Speakers stand an impressive 83mm wide at their widest point, making them a substantial addition to any room. To prevent scratching furniture, consider using a sturdy 15mm wood rod or pipe as the base and attaching the legs securely. This thoughtful approach will help protect your belongings from unwanted damage. When optimizing speaker placement, I've found that elevating my center speaker off a shelf can significantly enhance sound quality. Given their wide dimensions, two supports are necessary to achieve this goal. In the coming days, I'll be sharing photos that illustrate this setup in greater detail. For this project, I opted for generic black PLA and pine rods, which proved to be an excellent combination. When carefully hammered into place using a plastic or lightweight hammer, the rods provide a precise friction fit, ensuring a stable and secure base for my speakers.
