Since the fields of constuction, Power & Telecom Sectors, solar power farm are growing rapidly, so the production of Cold Roll Forming structures like C-Section, Lip channel, Sigma Profile and other profiles are also increased and so do the cost of structures. The factors responsible for increase in cost of the structures are as follows :- 1. Raw material cost. 2. Transportation Cost. 3. Manufacturing Cost. My aim of developing this SPM is to reduce - Mfg. cost including operation cost, labour charges and material handling cost. Because in my experience period of 3.5 years in mfg. sector, I have designed no. of piercing, slug cut-off, parting, notching tools as required on Web, Flange and/or on lip of various profiles ( cold rolled formed sections) according to the mfg. feasibility available i.e press available along with their tonnage. So, for each operation we require seperate press in which the required tools to be mounted which in turn increase operation cost, material handling and man power cost. By developing this SPM we can reduce the operation, material handling and manpower cost by making this fully automated. Each station is movable and can be adjusted to desired location depending on command given from input station.
