SpeedHoop Embroidery Hoop

This is a (probably) new take on the old concept of an embroidery hoop. Rather than a split outer hoop, this one works with a 5-start tapered thread. To use it, the cloth is draped over the lower part, then the top part is screwed on. Since it's a 5-start thread (pentuple helix), it only takes about a 30 degree twist to jam the parts together, clamping the cloth in place. Even for a fumbling non-fiber-arty engineer like me, I can do this in about 5 seconds. This also may be useful to people with dexterity problems due to arthritis or similar issues because it is way less fiddly than the traditional design.
