Speedplay Shoe Shield

I love Speedplay X series pedals! I like the cleats further back on the shoe, and I use the part number 13330 cleat extender base to make that happen. The extender base is aluminum, so the stainless steel bow tie will wear the extender plate very quickly, causing slop in the pedal-to-cleat fit. The Speedplay solution for the was 0.3-mm stainless shoe guards intended for expensive carbon soled shoes. They work great to protect my aluminum cleat extenders too. Unfortunately the wear guards are now impossible to find since Speedplay moved "back east" (offshore). Sidi does appear to offer replacement wear guards. I designed and printed these to give me a replaceable wear item. I have not used them yet. I printed two sets, one set for my shoes in ABS and the other set in PETG for my printed platform pedals. Part thickness is 1-mm, so it is not so thick as to cause problems with cleat mounting
