As my final project for an architecture course, I explored the possibilities of casting within 3D prints. Although it was technically a failure due to small tubes, the outcome is still remarkable. The assistance received from the members at All Hands Active, a hackerspace in Ann Arbor, MI, made this possible. Check them out at www.allhandsactive.com. In print, no support is required, but some sagging may occur.
