Spherebot Arduino Mounts
thingiverse
To mount an Arduino onto a Spherebot without zip ties, use M3x10 bolts and washers between nuts and mounts. The design accommodates three holes for Duemilanoves, printed in black ABS on a Prusa Mendel with heated bed. Attached is the DWG file of the design. Assemble the parts according to photos; print them using a skirt distance of 0.2mm and loops of 10ish layers. This creates a pseudo-raft that is easily removable. Print each part separately for better results. STL files of the mounts are included, both nested and separate. The motor shield used is from iTead Studio, featuring 8th microstepping but lacking enable pins for on/off control via gcode. Regardless, it performs well.
