SphereLamp2
thingiverse
This lamp is a modified version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3715901, with several key changes to enhance its lighting capabilities. The spheres were enlarged and made thinner to produce more light, while holes around the top 2 sphere's circumference were added for improved airflow. Additionally, the vertical column was expanded to allow even more light into the top 2 spheres. By removing the base at the bottom that holds the LED light, print time is reduced by approximately 45 minutes and most any type of LED puck light can be used. Note that this lamp stands at an impressive 324 mm high, necessitating a fairly large printer to print it full scale. Since the base is notably larger than standard puck LED lights, scaling it down may be necessary if you're working with limited printing capabilities. This lamp took just under 13 and a half hours to print using a print speed of 80 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm. It's designed to accommodate any one of several LED lights known as "puck" lights, which can be powered by either batteries or wall power.
