This is a GAME. A puzzle game for the ones who enjoy to create mechanisms and verify how they work. I created it from zero, and it can be patented. I expect to see an application for mobile phones using this idea...The project is created with Autodesk Inventor 2014 and animated with Inventor Studio module. You can download all the .ipt and .iam files, in order to have full control on creating your own spherical mechanism. You can also change settings in Inventor Studio to modify the animation. Everything is at your disposition, to value your imagination!In a word, you note that all the geometrical axes pass through the center of the sphere.The „game” starts by composing the mechanism. The „pedestal” is the „Spherical Base.ipt”. You start by adding one ore more levers from the „store”. They have two or three „eyes” - but you can extend them to more by creating your new ones. Firstly, every lever must be constrained by mating their Center Point to the Center Point of the „Spherical Base.ipt”. Afterwards you can move them everywhere around the center of their virtual spheres. The next step is to place two or more shafts. They are simply constrained by using the Insert constraint. Next you have to Mate the axes of the „eyes” to one shaft or to other lever axis. Note that ALL axes point to the Center Point of the sphere. If necessary, you can add more levers and/or shafts and constrain them as well. You may create shorter shafts in order to insure the freedom of levers over them.By using the Video button, you can see the animation of my example, which includes three shafts and nine levers. In a real world you have to add bolts and bushes to really constrain the moving parts (as you see in my movie), but for the test sake you can stop here.The possibilities are immense - count only that the „Spherical Base.ipt” has 119 holes for shafts!If somebody asks „and where is the application?” the answer is here: https://youtu.be/-15JAvc65Qc In fact, this was the source of my idea...I repeat, if you work with Inventor 2014, 2015... you may download all the parts and the assembly, so that you can change the configuration just like having the mechanism on your workbench. You do not need to use real parts, isn't it?...Enjoy!
