Sphericon 03 (Hexagon Based)

The sphericon is a three-dimensional solid that boasts an incredible continuous developable surface featuring two congruent semi-circular edges and four vertices forming a perfect square. This remarkable shape belongs to an exclusive family of rollers that can be rolled on a flat surface, effortlessly bringing every single point of their surface into contact with the surface they are rolling upon. This sphericon, much like several others I'll be uploading soon, is roughly based on a hexagon. By strategically placing circles in the corners and center, I connected them using smooth splines. The model was then rotated around its central axis to achieve a visually appealing shape. I initially created these models a while back but wasn't sure if they were worth sharing or not. At that time, it was primarily about honing my skills in Fusion 360 and having some fun with 3D printing giveaways. Now that I've made up my mind, I'm excited to share them with the community.
