I've been working on this design for roughly seven days now. The concept initially emerged when I pondered over the Nightmare Before Christmas and Jack's status as the King of Halloween. My curiosity was piqued - if there were a Queen of Halloween, what would she look like? She'd wear an inky black floor-length dress that seems to absorb light. Her hair would be jet black, her eyes blazing red like hot coals, and her skin would have a deathly pallor, as pale as freshly fallen snow. Two black angel wings would sprout from her shoulders, while atop her head, a delicate silver spider crown would sit majestically. The kind of fear she embodies is that gnawing sense of dread that something is lurking just behind you, its presence palpable yet unseen, waiting with bated breath to pounce.
