Spiderbot
thingiverse
Halloween is rolling around, so I'm building a spiderbot to welcome trick-or-treaters! Keep in mind that this project is still evolving rapidly. The current prototype uses a 6-bar linkage system to mimic a natural walking motion. Two 12v geared motors power the entire setup by driving a single driver gear into two primary gears on either side assembly. Each side of the spiderbot operates independently, allowing for the use of a differential drive controlled by an RC receiver. The included zip file contains a test-fit STL file that demonstrates parts placement and provides insight into the design's evolution. A separate Fit Test-Quarter Assembly file shows exactly how to assemble each quarter of the spiderbot.
With this file you will be able to print Spiderbot with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Spiderbot.
