Spiked Snow Wheels: 1:10 Scale RC Car

These are spiked snow wheels that are stronger and better suited for ice conditions while still working well in snow. They bolt right on to a standard 12mm hex hub which was borrowed from the original paddle wheels made by barspin. UPDATE: Video coming soon, printed both wheels today, mounted them on a traxxas slash but it was too dark to record a video. UPDATE 2: Ok so I ran the wheels, they were durable and that was satisfying, but they were to small so I started from scratch, and created these wheels designed off a standard style short course truck wheel, with a 2" outer circle and 3" inner circle, they are bigger and still in test mode, More to come. Heres a little video of the first run as you can see the snow was melting and the wheels didn't clear enough.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1SujRDojHU&feature=youtu.be Instructions Print and Bolt on, if your using Makerware like I am I would suggest scaling it up 1 or 2 percent since the hexhub can be to tight, this has been my experience but I haven't printed them yet. Update: These wheels if printed in Makerware have to be rotated 180 degrees, so that it prints up the cone wheel support otherwise you'll be printing in the air or have to use supports. UPDATE 2: I would advise printing on a raft, the surface area of the base was not enough for mine to stick throughout the print. These Wheels were made in TinkerCad which is a really intuitive easy program to use.
